A yogi has no particular path,
He simply renounces "imagining" things, His mind then ceases out of its own accord, And "the perfect state" naturally occurs.
If you refrain from looking at this, that, or any other object, then by that overpowering look into Absolute Being, you become yourself the boundless space of pure Awareness, which alone is real Being.

The Self is hidden in the lotus of the heart. Those who see themselves in all creatures go day by day into the world of Brahman hidden in the heart. Established in peace, they rise above body-consciousness to the supreme light of the Self. Immortal, free from fear, this Self is Brahman, called the True. Beyond the mortal and the immortal, he binds both worlds together. Those who know this live day after day in heaven in this very life.
The Self resides within the lotus of
the heart. Knowing this, consecrated
to the Self, the sage enters daily
that holy sanctuary. Absorbed in
the Self, the sage is freed from
identity with the body and lives
in blissful consciousness.
