Shiva and Shakti ॐ Talon Abraxas
"In deep meditation, Shakti dissolves into Shiva, and we experience the pure oneness beyond all duality."
- Gurudeva Sivaya Subramuniyaswami Shiva and Shakti ॐ Talon Abraxas Shiva and Shakti: The Five Pillars of Their Divine Partnership In the divine symphony of the universe, the cosmic couple, Siva and Shakti, are not merely partners but perfect reflections of one another, balanced in an eternal, divine equilibrium. Their union is the very pulse of existence, demonstrated through five profound harmoniesGreg Goode
“Sometimes awareness is called consciousness. The two terms are synonymous in this teaching. Sometimes awareness is called being. This is to underscore that awareness is not nonexistence or voidness. Sometimes it is called knowing. This is to convey that it is the antidote to ignorance. And sometimes awareness is called love. This is to emphasize its open, inviting, generous, intimate nature that is free from limitation and suffering.”

Thoughts are just moving through consciousness. They have no power. Nothing has reality until you reach it, grab it, and somehow impregnate it with the power of belief.
Quotations from “Hagakure” (“Hidden Leaves”)
“Our bodies are given life from the midst of nothingness. Existing where there is nothing is the meaning of the phrase, "Form is emptiness."
That all things are provided for by nothingness is the meaning of the phrase, “Emptiness is form." One should not think that these are two separate things.
There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A person’s whole life is a succession of moment after moment. If one fully understands the present moment, there will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue.”
Ram Dass
“Free yourself from the illusion of good and bad days. Labeling time makes us nostalgic of the past and demanding of the future. There is only here and now. Let it be.”

Lord Shiva as Nataraja 🔱 Talon Abraxas
"I am Consciousness and Bliss without form. I am Shiva..."
— Adi Shankara (Nirvana Shatakam) Lord Shiva as Nataraja 🔱 Talon Abraxas
adi shankaracharya
Ignorance of the soul is the cause of our error of conceiving distinctions between things; but knowledge of the identical soul and the reality of things put an end to all distinctions. Distinctive knowledge of existences (bheda jñāna) is erroneous, but their generalization (abheda jñāna) leads to right reasoning.
They call it ignorance (avidya) when the intellect is vitiated by its acceptance of phenomena (cetya), but phenomena being left out, the intellect comes to know the soul which is free from all attributes. The mind wraps the inner soul with the coverlet of its various desires, just as the silkworm twines the thin thread of its desires round about itself, which its lack of reason prevents it from understanding.Oscar Wilde
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.”
Henry Miller
“If energy is imperishable, how much more so is love! Like energy, which is still a complete enigma, love is always there, always on tap. Man has never created an ounce of energy, nor did he create love. Love and energy have always been, always will be. Perhaps in essence they are one and the same. Why not? Perhaps this mysterious energy which is identified with the life of the universe, which is God in action, as some one has said, perhaps this secret, all-invasive force is but the manifestation of love.”

The Betrayal of the Body BY Alexander Lowen
As long as the ego dominates the individual, he cannot have the oceanic or transcendental experiences that make life meaningful. Since the ego recognizes only direct causes, it cannot admit the existence of forces beyond its comprehension. Thus, not until the ego bows down to a higher power (as in prayer, for instance) can an individual have a truly religious experience. Not until the ego surrenders to the body in sex can a person have an orgiastic experience. And only when the ego abdicates before the majesty of nature will a person have a mystical experience. In each case, the dissolution of the ego returns the individual to the state of unity and continuum in which "moving" experiences are possible.

Thich Nhat Hanh
“Everything in the universe is created by your own mind. Our mind is the source of all phenomena...Our consciousness is like an artist, painting every phenomenon into being.”
We have mistaken intensity for truth, believing connection must announce itself through heat, urgency, and want. But what flares too brightly is often brief. Fire seduces the senses, then leaves only ash where meaning once struggled to live.
The most enduring connections are born in the dark ~ where minds recognize one another before names are ever spoken, where values echo softly across silence. It is not passion that binds here, but resonance. A shared moral gravity. Two inner worlds aligning not by force, but by inevitability.
There is a sensuality in this recognition that feels almost forbidden. No touch is required. Thoughts slip beneath the skin, linger in the chest and unravel defenses with unnerving precision. It is intimacy that breathes in pauses, that tightens in the space between words, that knows exactly where to haunt long after the moment has passed.
This is what has been lost. In a world obsessed with flesh, we have forgotten how devastating it is to be truly seen. Bodies are consumed, traded and abandoned ~ while the slow communion of minds is dismissed as too quiet, too demanding, too real.
Our bodies will betray us. They soften, scar and fade. But a connection rooted in intellect and spirit only sharpens with time. It deepens in shared memory, in mutual knowing, in the way another presence begins to live inside you. Not loudly. Not urgently. But permanently.

Raw, real, the vulnerability of truth is rare with connection built through understanding.
