''This soul, which has come into the body as an incarnation (in each and every body there is an incarnation of the soul), he has come into this body as an avatār does, but It is a misfortune for that person who does not understand that “I am an incarnation. I have come [in this body] to elevate this whole universe.”

The fool thinks, "I am the body"; the intelligent man thinks, "I am an individual soul united with the body." But the wise man, in the greatness of his knowledge and spiritual discrimination, sees the Self as the only reality and thinks, "I am Brahman."

Ignorance does not transform itself into wisdom through the process of time, through the inspiration of a goal. It must be dissolved in the ever-present.

SWAMI VEETAMOHANANDA’S Pearl of the Day
Human excellence depends on the growth of the human spirit, a rich quality of life. Courage and conviction in the heart are the true signs of human excellence. The fusion of the energy of manliness with spiritual energy has a tremendous power of impact on the world situation. Peace, happiness and a sense of fulfilment comes from the fusion of the material forces with spiritual forces.

Enlightenment comes when you understand the language of heart - the language of tree, birds and the nature.

“That immortal Brahman alone is before, that Brahman is behind, that Brahman is to the right and left. Brahman alone pervades everything above and below; this universe is that supreme Brahman alone.

One thing is certain: the real is not imaginary, it is not a product of the mind. Even the sense ‘I am’ is not continuous, though it is a useful pointer; it shows where to seek, but not what to seek. Just have a good look at it. Once you are convinced that you cannot say truthfully about your self anything except ‘I am’, and that nothing that can be pointed at, can be your self, the need for the ‘I am’ is over — you are no longer intent on verbalising what you are. All you need is to get rid of the tendency to define your self. All definitions apply to your body only and to its expressions. Once this obsession with the body goes, you will revert to your natural state, spontaneously and effortlessly. The only difference between us is that I am aware of my natural state, while you are bemused. Just like gold made into ornaments has no advantage over gold dust, except when the mind makes it so, so are we one in being — we differ only in appearance. We discover it by being earnest, by searching, enquiring, questioning daily and hourly, by giving one’s life to this discovery.

To very few is it given to hear about the Atma
Many more who hear of the Atma, do not understand.
Wonderful is the person who speaks of it.
Intelligent is the person who learns of it.
Most blessed is he who hears it
from a knowing teacher and understands it.
Atma, the Eternal Witness
Within the Vedantic knowledge, the eternal witness within every living being is called the Atma. The word Atma means light or effulgence. The Atma is the very core of each individual which registers all feelings, thoughts, consciousness, and awareness. Western science has taught us that our living forms or bodies have evolved from simple one celled organisms into the complex organization of the human body as it exists today.
Inherent in this view is that our thoughts and feelings arise as illusions from the electrical nerve activity in the brain. But the sage knows the body to be secondary and dependent on the primary spirit within. Without the spiritual Atma, the perceiver of all thoughts, feelings and sensations; the organically living form would fall down senseless in an instant. The spiritual entity is the cohesive force behind the physical organization and once the Atma withdraws from the body, disintegration begins immediately.

Our true nature is not limited ... it is like the vast ocean. ... When we touch Supreme Consciousness through meditation, then we are boundless, we are everywhere, we are eternal.

To the enlightened one, the world as he knew it ceases to be, and everything now stands enmantled (shrouded) by a shining vesture of divine effulgence, hitherto invisible to his normal vision.

If I were to spend years and years imagining how to invent anything so beautiful, I could not do it, and I do not even know how I should try, for, even in its whiteness and radiance alone, it exceeds all that we can imagine.

And as you become more and more the statement of love, you fall in love with everyone. There’s nobody here that I don’t feel in love with when I look at because all I see is that which is love in them.
“If… we fill our lives with things, and again with things…
If we consider ourselves so unimportant that we must fill every moment of our lives with action, when will we have the time to make the long, slow journey across the desert as did the Magi? Or sit and watch the stars as did the shepherds? Or brood over the coming of the child as did Mary? For each of us, there is a desert to travel. A star to discover. And a being within ourselves to bring to life.”

If there is an ‘I’ who can ‘get it’, there will be an ‘I’ who can ‘lose it’, and this ‘I’ is nothing but thought. It is the most costly thought when believed in, for it exchanges your innocence for complexity and your spontaneity for inhibition.
Sacred Union
The Sacred Union is the most loving bond with another that we can experience whilst on the earth plane. It is that kind of love that is beyond the 3rd dimension, an unconditional love that lasts no matter what the other person does. The bond exists on all levels from spiritual to mental, emotional and physical

George Fox
At the very centre of the Quaker faith lies the concept of the Inner Light. This principle states that in every human soul there is implanted a certain element of God's own Spirit and divine energy... The Inner Light discerns between good and evil. It reveals the presence of both in human beings, and through its guidance, offers the alternative of choice. Secondly, the Inner Light opens the unity of all human beings to our consciousness. Friends believe that the potential for good, as well as evil, are latent in everyone.
George Fox acknowledged that there is "an ocean of darkness and death" over the world. But he also saw that "an ocean of light and of love" flows over this ocean of darkness, revealing the infinite love of God. Friends believe that the power of God to overcome evil is available in the nature of anyone who truly wants to do the will of God. To a great extent, we are the arbiter of our own destiny, having the power of choice.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
