Eckhart Tolle

The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not “the thinker.” The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter – beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace – arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.

Gangaji

“Letting go of control is a deeper relaxation, a floating on the ocean. You can become aware of where you are holding on, and you can just let go and allow the ocean to hold you. You can become aware that all your tension and clinging are unnecessary, and then relax and let yourself be supported. In this same way you can become aware of all the mental and emotional energy that gets exerted in holding on to a particular story, and you can just let it all go. There is a deeper intelligence than the one you use to control, and it is present to be recognized in all lives, at all moments.”

This is it. Not some other time, not some other place. Right here. Right now. I am standing at the exact center of infinity and I see beauty and perfection and absolute delight everywhere and in every thing. The touch of the slightest breeze, the sight of a single star through cloud-swept skies, the howls of coyote pups in the distance and the sheer glory and beauty of it all is enough to tear me to shreds and all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.

Tatvamasyadilaksyam

The four Vedas proclaim four mahavakyas or fundamental truths. These basic statements are: (1) Prajnanam Brahma or God is Pure Consciousness. (2) Ayam Atma Brahma, meaning that Atma (the Self) and Brahman (God) are one. (3) Aham Brahmasmi, meaning I am God. (4) Tat Twam Asi, meaning That thou art!

God is Bliss

In the Anandavalli portion of the Rig Veda, there is a beautiful and poetic reference to Brahmananda or Supreme Bliss. Brahmananda refers to mliss that is limitless and beyond description by words; it is also something that cannot be comprehended by the ordinary mind. Unless one leads a calm, pure, noble, virtuous, peaceful, and unsullied life, one can neither understand nor experience this Brahmananda. Supreme bliss is beyond the physical, mundane, and transient world.

Tantra: The Supreme Understanding by Prem Aakash

The shakti flows more naturally through someone who is deeply in touch with the feminine, which is oftentimes the woman. Therefore when the woman is fully aroused, once her entire body is loved and worshipped, she will open her yoni, she will be fully orgasmic, and she will share the nectar of the depth of her being with you. When the entire system is activated women can access amazing arousal states and discover their deep erotic nature. Then you will be able to ride her waves of pleasure and expand into the magnetic field of your union.⁣

Sex is not about your/her pleasure, it is about cultivating something that is beyond you or her, that is more than the sum of its parts... A field that you can expand into together, and become infinitely vast.⁣
So... the deeper you go, the deeper she opens... and it affects both of you. ⁣

G.K. Chesterton

Mysticism keeps men sane. As long as you have mystery you have health; when you destroy mystery you create morbidity. The ordinary man has always been sane because the ordinary man has always been a mystic. He has permitted the twilight. He has always had one foot in earth and the other in fairyland. He has always left himself free to doubt his gods; but (unlike the agnostic of to-day) free also to believe in them. He has always cared more for truth than for consistency. If he saw two truths that seemed to contradict each other, he would take the two truths and the contradiction along with them. His spiritual sight is stereoscopic, like his physical sight: he sees two different pictures at once and yet sees all the better for that.

Thus he has always believed that there was such a thing as fate, but such as thing as free will also. Thus he believed that children were indeed the kingdom of heaven but nevertheless ought to be obedient to the kingdom of earth. He admired youth because it was young and age because it was not.

It is exactly this balance of apparent contradictions that has been the whole bouyancy of the healthy man. The whole secret of mysticism is this: that man can understand everything by the help of what he does not understand. The morbid logician seeks to make everything lucid, and succeeds in making everything mysterious. The mystic allows one thing to be mysterious, and everything else becomes lucid."

Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

ONLY THROUGH THE INTUITIVE PERCEPTION of divine realization (veda, "true knowledge") may the Supreme Lord be known. When mortal man attains liberation from delusion, he becomes omniscient: he sees the cosmic Omnipresent Light issuing from the Sole Reality, its radiance dancing within all things in its informing activities. The little mortal, now a God-man, is engulfed in an ineffable delight. His soul, his heart, his mind with all its instruments, and the very atoms of his being, all rejoice with countless expressions of adoration-for everything that presents itself is an altar of Spirit.

The taintless devotee, whose intuition has expanded into cosmic consciousness with its revelation of the hidden immanent workings of the transcendent Spirit, has attained the Ultimate. No more is he a dupe of delusion upon whom actions are enforced. Ensconced in wisdom, he freely acts through the God-given instruments of Nature, without the ensuing bondage caused by egotistical motivation. In him, the workings of Nature are manifestations of duty successfully completed, and duty continuing to be offered in selfless service as acts of devotion to God: (krita-kritya, "what has been done and what is to be done"). He is an exemplar of supreme accomplishment, and of the art of accomplishing: God-united in transcendental ecstasy, and divinely active in the dutiful realm of Manifested Spirit.

Jeff Foster, The Deepest Acceptance

Acceptance is about recognizing yourself as the open space of acceptance, as the ocean that already accepts all its waves, unconditionally here and now—including any wave of nonacceptance.

Do not go about worshipping deities and religious institutions as the source of the subtle truth. To do so is to place intermediaries between yourself and the divine, and to make of yourself a beggar who looks outside for a treasure that is hidden inside his own breast. If you want to worship the Tao, first discover it in your own heart. Then your worship will be meaningful.

by NZ Yogi Time to Abolish Belief

I know I am alive, I don't have to believe that, in fact believing this is a waste of time and energy. I know God, therefore I don't have to believe in God.

We only have beliefs because we are unstable in our own self knowledge. All those people who go out with the intention of converting you to their faith (beliefs) only do so because they are unstable in their own self knowledge and it is only by having everyone else believing as they do that they will feel secure. Therefore I see attachment to any belief as a mental illness - you either know or your do not know.

Do you believe in aliens or life on other planets? The odds are in the light of scientific knowledge that life on other planets is possible, I am open to the possibility or probability that there is, but believing is nonsense.

Buddha taught 'take my ideas and try them out, and if they work for you, use them' he never said believe in me, create a religion in my name or follow me. Jesus said much the same thing and belief was never a factor in the teachings of the great masters.

"Belief is bullshitting yourself about something you do not know" ~ Sadhguru

Lets replace I believe with 'I think'.

Its time to dispense with belief, replace it with direct knowledge or a degree of possibility or probability as belief at the end of the day is simply a thought which is often given so much power it destroys. Please note that in order to not believe and accept an idea as potential, one must also suspend disbelief as the two forces are equal.

Viktor Frankl

Man does not simply exist but always decides what his existence will be, what he will become the next moment. By the same token, every human being has the freedom to change at any instant.

Consciousness is Brahman

Prajnanam Brahma: Consciousness is Brahman
This Great Teaching occurs in the Aitareya Upanishad. It is known as the swaroopa vakya, because it indicates the swaroopa or true nature of the Ultimate Reality. Brahman in this teaching means Truth, or Reality, or God or whatever we may choose to call it. The verse states “Whatever exists here, whether moving or unmoving, all is supported by Consciousness. The basis (of the universe) is Consciousness. Consciousness is Brahman.”
Brahman is the one Consciousness in all manifested forms. As gold remains gold alone, whether it is molded into coins, jewellery, idols or anything else, the universal Consciousness remains the same, no matter in which form it is manifested. Whatever we see or know as this universe, as God and as ourselves, is nothing but the play of this one Consciousness. It is the light of Consciousness that illumines everything, both within and without. Sankara retells a story from the Upanishads, which is actually a dialogue between a guru and his disciple.
The guru asks the disciple, by what light do you see? The disciple replies, by sunlight in the daytime, and by lamplight at night.
G: By what light do you see these lights?
D: By the light of my eyes, naturally.
(Without the eyes, all other lights prove useless for the purpose.)
G: And by what light do your eyes see?
D: By the light of consciousness, indeed!
(Even when the eyes are open, one can miss seeing an object right before one’s eyes if the
awareness is directed elsewhere.)
G: That is true!
Thus, know that Consciousness is the Light by which all else is seen.
Prajnanam Brahma means, Consciousness is the Reality, Consciousness is All. For the spiritual seeker, perhaps it may be easier to start from the opposite direction. In the beginning, one can meditate on the truth that All is Consciousness. Whatever we perceive through the senses, whatever we understand through the mind, all that we are aware of in the outer world and in the inner world – all these are manifestations of the one Consciousness. When we are in tune with this truth, we can meditate on the ultimate truth that Consciousness is All. Consciousness is all there is! All names, forms and qualities are nothing but superimpositions on Brahman, the unchanging Consciousness. Consciousness alone exists as All.

"Original Christianity

"Original Christianity—which was identical with Sanatana Dharma—taught that the Divine Light "was the light of men....the true Light, which lighteth every man" (Jn 1:4, 9) without exception. That Light cannot be alienated from us, but is ever the essence of our existence, making us "the children of light.” (Jn 12:36) This is the real Gospel, the Good News, of real religion.”

To attain self-realization, there is really nothing you have to do

It does not require puja, it does not require meditation, it does not require prayer, it does not require yoga. It does not require anything, for self-realization is your natural state to begin with

Power Of Devotion

NIGUMA “This variety of desirous and hateful thoughts that strands us in the ocean of cyclic existence once realized to be without intrinsic nature, makes everything a golden land, child. If you meditate on the illusion-like nature of illusion-like phenomena, actual illusion-like buddhahood will occur through the power of devotion.”

-There is no past and there is no future. All there is, is now. We can gain experience from the past, but we cannot relive it; and we can expect the future, but we do not know if there is one.

Sayings of Sri Ramakrishna,

"Through His grace He reveals Himself. He is the sun of Knowledge. One ray of His has brought the power of understanding in this world. On account of it we have the power to know each other and to acquire various forms of knowledge. We can see Him only if He turns His light on His own face."

[GEMS FROM THE DISCOURSES OF MEHER BABA

When it is recognized that there are no claims greater than the claims of the Universal Divine Life which without exception includes everyone and everything, love shall not only establish peace, harmony and happiness in social, national and international spheres, but it will shine in its own purity and beauty.

Divine Love is unassailable by the onslaughts of duality and is an expression of divinity itself; and it is through Divine Love, that the New Humanity will come in tune with the Divine Plan.
Divine Love will not only introduce imperishable sweetness and infinite bliss in personal life, but it will also make possible an era of New Humanity.
Through Divine Love, the New Humanity will learn the art of cooperative and harmonious life; it will free itself from the tyranny of dead forms and release the creative life of spiritual wisdom; it will shed all illusions and get established in the Truth; it will enjoy peace and abiding happiness; it will be initiated in the life of Eternity.

Ramana Maharshi

"Grace is always present. You imagine it as something high in the sky, far away, something that has to descend. It is really inside you, in your heart. When the mind rests in its source, grace rushes forth, sprouting as from a spring within you.

Paramahansa Yogananda

Do not even allow yourself to be limited to the consciousness that you are a man or a woman: You are a Soul made in God’s image. The wisest course is to remember always, “I am neither man nor woman. I am Spirit.” Then you will rid yourself of the limiting consciousness of both tendencies; you will realize your highest divine potential, whether you are incarnate as a man or a woman.

Sayings of Ramakrishna

“God is in all men, but all men are not in God; that is why we suffer.”

Ramakrishna
“Different creeds are but different paths to reach the same God.”
Ramakrishna
“Common men talk bagfuls of religion but do not practise even a grain of it. The wise man speaks a little, even though his whole life is religion expressed in action.”
Ramakrishna

Yoga Vasishtha

True research or vichara consists in constantly wondering: Who am I?. How could this illusory torment of samsara have occurred?. Knowledge of truth springs from this attentive research, which reassures the mind and generates an indescribable peace that we drives beyond all suffering.

Those who have the spirit of research wide awake, illuminate the world and those who live around them. They clear the ghosts of the ignorant mind and allow to understand the falsehood of pleasures and sensitive objects. The light of research or vichara allows for understanding of the eternal and immutable reality, which is the supreme being.

He who possesses this no longer desires anything else, but neither rejects anything; is free of illusion and all attachment, does not remain inactive or involved in action, lives and acts in this world until the end of his days and after reaches the blessed state of absolute liberation (nirvana or moksa).

Thich Nhat Hanh

We cannot enjoy life if we spend our time and energy worrying about what happened yesterday and what will happen tomorrow. If we’re afraid all the time, we miss out on the wonderful fact that we’re alive and can be happy right now

Go Within Or Go Without: "Within This Body" -- Mystic-Poem of Sant Tulsi Sahib of Hathras

Within this body breathes the secret essence. Within this body beats the heart of the Vedas.

Within this body shines the entire Universe, so the saints say.

Hermits, ascetics, celibates all are lost, seeking Him in endless guises.

Seers and sages perfectly parrot the scriptures and holy books, blinded by knowledge.

Their pilgrimage, and fasting, and striving but delude

Despite their perfect practice, they discover no destination.

Only the Saints who know the body's heart have attained the Ultimate, O Tulsi.

Realize this, and you've found your freedom (while teachers trapped in tradition know only the mirage in the mirror).

-The 14th Dalai Lama

“In the view of Tantra, the body’s vital energies are the vehicles of the mind. When the vital energies are pure and subtle, one’s state of mind will be accordingly affected. By transforming these bodily energies we transform the state of consciousness.”

Once upon a time, when women were birds, there was the simple understanding that to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk was to heal the world through joy.

The birds still remember what we have forgotten, that the world is meant to be celebrated ..

Fyodor Dostoyevsky, "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man"

I have seen the truth; I have seen and I know that people can be beautiful and happy without losing the power of living on earth. I will not and cannot believe that evil is the normal condition of mankind. And it is just this faith of mine that they laugh at. But how can I help believing it?

...no Hindu can realize that he is God in disguise without seeing at the same time that this is true of everyone and everything else. In the Vedanta philosophy, nothing exists except God. There seem to be other things than God, but only because he is dreaming them up and making them his disguises to play hide-and-seek with himself.

Sadhguru

You cannot suffer the past or future because they do not exist.Memory creates a hallucination of the past, desire creates a hallucination of the future.Time and space are just a creation of the mind, projections of consciousness.

Once you touch a dimension which is boundless, the idea of time and space disappears.
