THE AFFIRMATION of a divine life upon earth and an
immortal sense in mortal existence can have no base unless we recognise not only eternal Spirit as the inhabitant
of this bodily mansion, the wearer of this mutable robe, but
accept Matter of which it is made, as a fit and noble material
out of which He weaves constantly His garbs, builds recurrently
the unending series of His mansions
He energised conscious-force (in the austerity of thought) and
came to the knowledge that Matter is the Brahman. For from
Matter all existences are born; born, by Matter they increase
and enter into Matter in their passing hence. Then he went to
Varuna, his father, and said, “Lord, teach me of the Brahman.”
But he said to him: “Energise (again) the conscious-energy in
thee; for the Energy is Brahman.”

“Though in some sense the Upanishads are the continuation of the Vedic religion, they are in another sense a strong philosophical protest against the religion of the Brahmanas. It is in the
Upanishads that the tendency to spiritual monism, which, in one form or another, characterizes
much of Indian philosophy, was first established whose intuition rather than reason was first
recognized as the true guide of ultimate truth.”

“All that has here been written, all that can be written, is but a web of words, a ladder by whose help we seek to scale the ramparts of Eternity. Viewed by the eye of Wisdom all this clash of world with world, the Sparks, which fly from the Eternal Anvil, are but a vast phantasmagoria. Nothing is out breathed nor anything descends to rise again. All are the visions of the Eternal Mind; the changing finite centers that are us ourselves being but the countless points of view within that mighty whole, “for there is naught in all the world that is not He.”

Contemplate life as infinite, undivided, ever present, ever active, until you realise yourself as one with it. It is not even very difficult, for you will be returning only to your own natural condition. Once you realise that all comes from within, that the world in which you live has not been projected onto you but by you, your fear comes to an end. Without this realisation you identify yourself with the externals, like the body, mind, society, nation, humanity, even God or the Absolute. But these are all escapes from fear. It is only when you fully accept your responsibility for the little world in which you live and watch the process of its creation, preservation and destruction, that you may be free from your imaginary bondage.
, the Reality, what people call the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God. You are already That, but you have so many concepts you cover it up. You have so many feelings and dogmas and attitudes that you cover up the Godliness. So you have to open your heart and let your reality shine through.

“Just fully being skillful involves total lack of inhibition. We are not afraid to be. We are not afraid to live. We must accept ourselves as being warriors. If we acknowledge ourselves as warriors, then there is a way in, because a warrior dares to be, like a tiger in the jungle.”

When the intellect realizes that cosmic intellect is the source of its existence, then the deepest stage begins where the practitioner can realize that manifested form is a projection of unmanifest energy, and unmanifest energy is the power of one supreme consciousness, purusha, the supreme being. Then, the great tranquility beyond description is experienced.
"Know yourself and you shall then know God. What is my ego? Is it my hand or foot or flesh or blood or any other part of my body? Reflect well and you will know that there is no such thing as 'I'. The more you peel off the skin of an onion, the more skin only appears - you cannot get any kernel; so when you analyse the ego, it vanishes away into nothingness. What is ultimately left behind is the Atman [soul] - the pure chit [Knowledge Absolute]. God appears when the ego dies."

To me, every hour of the light and dark is a miracle, every inch of space is a miracle, every square yard of the surface of the earth is spread with the same, every cubic foot of the interior swarms with the same; every spear of grass-the frames, limbs, organs, of men and women, and all that concerns them, all these to me are unspeakably perfect miracles.
God is within you; you are His instrument, and through you He expresses Himself to the external world.
The words 'within oneself' might confuse some people. They might think 'within oneself' means inside one's body; but that is because man is ignorant of himself. Man has a very poor idea of himself, and this keeps him in ignorance of his real self. If man only knew how large, how wide, how deep, how high is his being, he would think, act, and feel differently; but with all his width, depth, and height, if man is not conscious of them he is as small as he thinks himself to be. The essence of milk is butter, the essence of the flower is honey, the essence of grapes is wine, and the essence of life is wisdom.
The concept of Brahman connects with the concept of Ātman (true self/ spirit). Ātman is the true self which is not adulterated by the Ego (ahaṁkāra). It is immortal, fearless (Prabhavananda, 2019) and indiscernible unlike the empirical body. It is the internal controller (antaryāmin) beyond all of existence with no individualistic characteristics (Lindquist, 2019). Therefore, knowing of the true self connects with knowing of Brahman- transcendence which resides in everyone. The Brahman and the Ātman becomes one and the same (advaita).
