Enlightenment or Awakening
is not an object to be achieved by a pseudo-subject identified with a particular body-mind object, for the simple reason that Enlightenment is a state in which there is no separate individual doer of any action. Total unconditional acceptance of this fact - which itself is not in one's control - leads naturally to the only action that is necessary for the awakening to happen: the action of non-action; unmotivated, non-volitional functioning
