When we consider the nature of cosmic process with its ascent from matter to spirit, we are led to the conception of a supreme Being who is the substantiation of all values. These values are not only the revealed attributes of God, but the active causes of the world. T ill these values are realized, God is transcendent to the process, though He inspires it. God is the creator, destroyer, and sustainer of this universe. He transcends all creatures as the active power in which they take their rise.
