"Reality is made of God's energies. The material world is formed of his external energy, which is temporary, illusory, and sorrowful by nature. We conscious beings share the same nature as God and belong to his internal energy, whose natural qualities are sat-chit-ananda—eternity, knowledge, and bliss. The difference between ourselves and Krishna is that he is unlimited and independent, whereas we are small and depend on him for our existence, as sparks depend on a fire. God and the living entity are one yet different."
