Someone who has accomplished and fulfilled the basic, introductory level of the teaching, has renounced attachment. They have realized that this physical life is an illusion and they care nothing for pride, for fame, for wealth, for security, for sensation, for gluttony and for good food, for nice clothes, for fancy house and car, for all that stuff. They naturally, spontaneously renounce it because they know all those things lead to suffering, all of those things are illusion, all of those things are meaningless, and what matters is the quality of the heart. That is how you see a real practitioner.
