The Avadhoota Gita

"Song of the Free Soul," is an ancient Hindu scripture, attributed to the sage Lord Dattatreya, that describes the state of a liberated being (an avadhoota) who has realized the non-dual reality of the universe. The text is a poetic and uncompromising expression of Advaita Vedanta philosophy, emphasizing the inherent unity of the Atman (individual self) and Brahman (ultimate reality) and the transcendence of all limitations.
