The Higher Cerebrospinal Centers

The divine man’s consciousness stays principally in the dorsal, or heart center, where he feels pure love for God and for all mankind; in the medullary center, where he comprehends all creation as God’s holy vibration, hearing it as the cosmic sound of Aum*; and in the Christ or Kutastha center**, where his consciousness expands, enabling him to experience, through direct perception, his oneness with God in every atom in creation. Whenever we express kindness, forgiveness, understanding, endurance, courage, faith, or love, our consciousness is drawn to these higher cerebrospinal centers. *The “Word” or “voice of many waters” of the Bible.
