Sri Daya Mata, Finding the Joy WithinYou

 It is not enough to spend our lives merely thinking noble thoughts. God has put us in a physical form because service is an essential part of our spiritual evolution. When we no longer need that kind of activity, we will no longer be required to reincarnate on this material plane. Cultivate the attitude of willingness, and leave the results in God’s hands. Many times, concerned devotees have said to me, “You’ve got to slow down for the sake of your health; you are trying to carry too much.” But I know that for all these years it is God who has been looking after this body. I have lived with that faith. As long as He wishes this body to be well, He will look after it. I do my part, but ultimately it is His responsibility. My joy, my privilege, is to serve in whatever way He asks.
