That is my foremost New Year's prayer for you - that all those whom I love and who come to me may find highest favor with God. That is the only thing I am living for. I know within myself that I have done everything only for God and not for my own ambition. His work is my only ambition; and for His work I am ready and willing to suffer, if necessary, to please Him in activity and to please Him in the silence of my soul.
