Kartikeya, also known as Murugan or Skanda. Often shown as a young, handsome god with a spear, riding a peacock. He is sometimes depicted with six faces, symbolizing mastery over the senses and mind.
Kartikeya was born to defeat the demon Tarakasura and is considered the commander-in-chief of the Devas (gods).
