When the mind is in a tranquil state,
devoid of any modifications, the intellect also surrenders completely without exercising any of its natural function of discrimination. The Divinity or the supreme energy in its primordial form reveals its true nature to itself, which has so far been in a state of ignorance and which is also enshrined within the Self of a person. It is akin to a gem that reveals its splendor after the dirt has been removed.
