There is a limit to our knowledge of the mysteries of creation and God through our reason and intellect, or through contemplation with thoughts and images. Such contemplation is good, and is a necessary step, and through it we can glean much knowledge of the various attributes and actions of God, but having engaged in it we will find that still we have little if any knowledge of God as God is in Godself. As strange as it might sound to some, it is not through knowledge that we come to the awareness of God as God Is, but rather, putting away thought and thinking, and imagining, it is through a deep inward stillness and silence, and a state of 'unknowing' - it is through 'silent love' and passing away in God that awareness of God as God Is dawns. In this state of unknowing, silent love, God reveals Godself, from God to God, as it were; hence, the experience of what has been called'Christ or God Consciousness.'

Shalom Aleichem! Tau Malachi
This, of course, is nothing new as a message or teaching, for there have been great mystics of various wisdom traditions speaking about this 'secret' mystery for thousands of years, but there was a stirring to share this reflection here today. It points to a way of a most intimate inward communion in the Holy One of Being, one that's very simple and direct, though indeed requiring much spiritual work at the outset to learn how to abide in this deep inwardness, this 'silent love' and 'unknowing.'
