Paramahansa Yogananda 🤎

The worldly man's consciousness dwells principally in the coccygeal, sacral, and lumbar centers of the spine; he seldom lifts his consciousness above them. Whenever one indulges in moods or temper or any of the negative qualities of the human emotional nature, the consciousness is drawn down to the three lower centers in the spine. The divine man's consciousness stays principally in the dorsal, or heart center, where he feels pure love for God and for all mankind; in the medullary center, where he comprehends all creation as God's holy vibration, hearing it as the cosmic sound of Aum; and in the Kutastha center, where his consciousness expands, enabling him to experience, through direct perception, his oneness with God in every atom in creation. Whenever we express kindness, forgiveness, understanding, endurance, courage, faith, or love, our consciousness is drawn to these higher cerebrospinal centers.
