Our sense of ego, our distorted understanding of our true nature, this is very much associated with the past and the future. So, even when we think we’re in the present, we’re thinking about the present, we’re not actually experiencing here and now, so everything which we see and hear, immediately we start commenting. We start comparing and judging and so forth. It’s very hard to see anything just as it is without clothing it in all our ideas.
