Krishnamurti

 Death is inevitable. It may take years or it may happen tomorrow – there is a sudden ending of this continuity. So realising that, acting with care and affection, live with death. That means no attachment whatsoever to anything – to your name, your fame, your power, your position – nothing. It is not difficult; it is very easy if you really want to do it. With the ending of that which is continuous – the ending – there is a new beginning. Without ending, there is no beginning. I know you will agree and say, ‘Yes, marvellous, perfect,’ but then carry on with your ugly life. And that is where there is great sorrow...
