East vs West

Hinduism, says that the universe wasn't created just once, but exists in a pattern where it's created over and over again. That means there are numerous creation stories, but that's not saying they don't have anything in common, because they do. While other religions — like Christianity — separate the divine and our material, earthly world in what's called Western dualistic traditions, Hinduism features stories that are largely rooted in fundamental nondualism. In a nutshell, it means that humans are living in a divine or semi-divine world.
