"I believe that the Eastern religions continue today to believe that the
third eye is the seat of spiritual insight. Somewhere along the line, the spelling has been slightly altered since the Bible spells the word Peniel or Penuel,
but the similarity of meaning suggests that they are related. Peniel means
recognition of God. Meditation is for the purpose of recognizing God, our
spiritual Source. To this we direct our attention. Is this not the seat of the
soul, spiritual insight, the union of man with his infinite Source?"
