It is the most sacred syllable symbol in various religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism. AUM is a common thread that binds the truth about cosmic consciousness or the ultimate reality in these religions. The Aum sound is the primeval sound of cosmos, and in Upanishads, it is mentioned as the Shabda-Brahman “Sound of God or the Name of God”.
