The mind, beloved Rama, is a thick cloud of ignorance that you must clear with tenacious renunciation to all objective concepts and perceptions. Just like a weapon can only be stopped and destroyed by another more powerful weapon, you must calm the mind with the help of the mind itself. Abandon forever every form of mental agitation. Be at peace with yourself like a tree that has been free forever from the annoyance of monkeys jumping on its branches.
