 Q. Why don´t people want enlightenment?

Papaji: Because the mind engages them in the enjoyment of the senses. And they fear giving up the pleasures of the senses. You can count on your fingers the number of people who truly want to be free. Everyone is afraid: "I will lose the world, my attachments, my relationships, my dear ones."

This is a foolish concept. On the contrary, when you are enlightened you will begin to have really good relationships, even with the animals, even with plant life.
