One takes the body to be oneself, hence, one treats others as bodies. At first, this seems reasonable and obvious but look deeply and contemplate this matter. These so-called bodies, minds, good and bad actions; beyond what is solely perceptual, where do they exist? Enquiring within, they cannot be found. They appear externally through a conditioned reflex of perceptions and thoughts, but beyond this, at a foundational level, nothing can be found. Attention fixated externally sees this shallow, separate, conflict-ridden world of perception. But attention turned inward apperceives the indescribable nature of what we are all. —
