By Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

‘The highest ideal is to take the sun as your model. If you try to imitate a scholar, a philosopher, even a hero, a saint or an initiate, you will certainly receive some small particles of their virtues and qualities, but never as many or as pure as those you will receive if your model is the sun.

‘The image of perfection is the sun, and if you adopt him as your model, if, like him, you think of nothing but bringing light, warmth and life to all creatures, then you will really work your own transformation. For even if you never acquire all the light, warmth and life of the sun, the desire to do so is sufficient to project you into heavenly regions where you can really perform wonders. This desire to communicate light, warmth and life to other creatures will make you yourself more luminous, more loving and more alive.’
