Very often people will complain that thoughts arise and disturb them when they sit for meditation and want to know how to get rid of these thoughts. A Spiritual Master offered a simple solution: “Since these worldly thoughts about family, work and other matters come during meditation time, just reverse the process. So when you are at work or talking to friends or cooking, eating, and doing other things, simply think of God. If you can think of God while engaging in worldly activities, then during your meditation worldly thoughts will not come to you. With practice, this process of reversal will work. Practice, practice and practice. Practice brings perfection. Through practice, you will eventually behold the Divine goal."
