“If you are wearing a mask, you created it; and you did this for a reason. A mask, just as any other creation, is made of energy. You once made a decision, or a movement, in the direction of this new identity. You had to put energy into acquiring the new mask. You had to attend medical school, in other words, to put on the mask of a doctor. You must get married and devote a certain amount of your energy to maintain the mask of a wife. Different masks have different weights; the denser, or heavier, the mask, the more energy it requires maintaining. You must choose how much energy you are willing to invest in any particular mask, or you will set up an imbalance that will ultimately result in stress and dis-ease as your body naturally goes about restoring balance.”
